What am I concerned about and what do I do to minimize those concerns?
I choose age-appropriate tools that include features for monitoring student progress and activity. I opt for reputable vendors with transparent privacy policies and a solid security record. I stay up-to-date with district privacy and security policies, and I take advantage of training for teachers on best practices for using digital tools when/if the opportunities present themselves. By focusing on these aspects, any teacher can enhance the learning experience through gamification while maintaining a secure and privacy-conscious environment.
